Productivity

Most people lose with productivity because they treat their brain like a machine that has to work 24/7. At Zenith, we teach you how to save "decision fuel", so you have enough for things that actually build your future.

Eliminating energy leaks

Zenith System

Productivity in our app is primarily about supporting your daily choices. Every small decision – what to eat, what to buy, what to do – consumes your energy.

  • Kitchen & Wallet: We remove decision paralysis from you. Thanks to the planner and automated shopping list, you don't have to "reinvent the wheel" every day. The system does it for you, releasing your mental resources.
  • Resolutions & Habits: These are your programmed steps. One day, during a free weekend, you sat down and planned to walk 3 times a week. Now you just do it. You don't wonder on Tuesday: "Hm, maybe I should work out?". You already know it. Once a month you verify if these actions are developing you, and on a daily basis you simply execute the plan, saving time on unnecessary overthinking.

Pomodoro: Mechanism of Unsatiety

Zeigarnik Effect

Use Pomodoro as a hook for your own brain, utilizing the so-called Zeigarnik Effect. It says that the brain remembers and wants to complete interrupted tasks much better than finalized ones. How Pomodoro can help you move forward:

Step 1
The "Clock-Watching" Trap

If you count the seconds to the end during a session and think: "When is the break?", it's a sign that either the task is totally exhausting you, or your resistance is stronger than the desire to act. In such a state, Pomodoro will expose the fact that what you are doing is burning your fuses. Then it's worth asking yourself a question from the Goals section: "Do I even want to do this?".

Step 2
The Trick: Interrupt when it's best

The true power of Pomodoro manifests when you enter the Flow state. The bell rings, and you think: "Damn, not yet, I'm doing so well right now!".

  • This is the moment! If you interrupt then (even for 5 minutes), your brain will remain in a state of "positive tension".
  • Instead of feeling relief that it's over, you feel the urge to return.
  • In this way, you program your mind to associate a given work with pleasure and excitement, rather than with murderous effort until exhaustion.
Step 3
How to use this in Zenith?

Don't treat Pomodoro sessions as a prison.
  • Use it for "momentum": When you can't start, agree with yourself on one session.
  • Build work hunger: If you feel the work is pulling you in, interrupt in the middle of a sentence or calculation. This will make the next session not a struggle for survival, but a joyful return.
  • Collect EXP: Remember that every session equals experience points in the app. Your work on focus realistically builds your level in the system.

Rules for full effectiveness

Implement these simple rules to keep your efficiency at its peak:

  • 2-Minute Rule: If a task takes less than 2 minutes (e.g., a quick note in the app, putting away shoes) – do it immediately. Don't plan it, just do it.
  • Eat the frog: Do the most difficult resolution for a given day first. You have the most energy then. When you "eat the frog" in the morning, the rest of the day will be lighter.
  • Batching: Don't go shopping every day. Do larger shopping once or twice a week with a generated list. That's one big decision instead of seven small ones.
