History in the making

Roadmap to April 2026

I am creating these initial entries primarily as a record of our history for those who might find their way here in the future. At this moment, I have no illusions that anyone other than myself will read this. Not even Patryk.

"I am writing these posts because I want to show how this project grew and to capture these emotions (a month or two from now, I probably won’t remember much of this)."

Regarding the date, we are aiming for April, but definitely not April 1st, as everyone might expect. The specific date depends on how we close the topics I mention below.

What are we doing now?

Right now, I am finishing the website, fixing app bugs, and adding several features using AI. Almost everything is ready; all that’s left is:

Finish the website build – I need to add two more blog posts.
Improving the app and fixing bugs. Examples:
- Missing Pop-ups for deleting operations – currently, if someone accidentally clicks the trash icon, the operation disappears without warning.
- Habit and resolution streak calculation errors – when someone marks a failure and then changes it to a success, the streak unfortunately doesn’t recalculate back.
- Tasks without deadlines – we want to remove the forced end date. Sometimes you have a task like "car repair" where you're waiting in line at the mechanic and the timing isn't up to you.
- An error occurred today and all our data was deleted – luckily we managed to restore everything.
Connecting the domain to the mailing provider – so that collecting emails for the Waiting List (eventually the Newsletter) actually works.

What does Patryk have to do?

Build the Discord channel – we’ve never done this before, so neither of us knows what to expect there.
Configure the hosting provider's email to Outlook – hosting UIs are always clunky, and I hate using them.
Manage the Firebase database – I don't know what needs to be done there, and frankly, I don't want to know.

Launch requirements

We have a few tasks ahead where we aren't quite sure of the process yet:

Authentication for Google Play – we need this to add the app to the store. I think we are very close to starting this step.
- "Delete account" option – we need to add this to the app.
- Legal docs – adding Privacy Policy and Conditions & Terms.
- Bug testing – making sure the app is free of major bugs.
Subscription system – I have no idea how it’s supposed to work with payments.
Refining English – in hindsight, it probably would have been better to do it the other way around, so we will focus on this in future updates.
2FA Login – setting up two-factor authentication for user data security.

Marketing

Looking a bit ahead, we still need to set up Social Media accounts. Initially, I plan to attack YouTube and TikTok. Patryk will focus on Reddit and manage Discord.

That’s it. Once we sort this out, we launch.
